FREE THEATRE & DANCE WORKSHOPS FOR WOMEN OF ALL AGES
With your help ZENDEH will deliver a series of free creative workshops to women of all ages across the North East.

ZENDEH will be working with groups of women and girls who do not have equal access to theatre and dance workshops. It is important that we reach these people as part of our wider series of workshops so that their experiences are also included in informing and shaping the hidden histories that ZENDEH explores through its work.

These workshops in particular will explore the themes of our new production FOUND: loss, memories and what it means to be found. The groups will explore how each person stores memories and shares them, and discuss being found and finding others.

Sponsor these workshops and you will receive, not only the thanks of the ZENDEH team, but also the thanks of the women who will develop their creative skills and share in the collaborative artistic experience.

FOUND - THE TOURING PRODUCTION SPRING 2012
FOUND is a powerful, culturally eclectic new work created with theatre, dance and digital art.

Take a walk through Anna's turbulent mind where a personal tragedy in the modern world collides with joyful stories told by her Jewish grandmother, who was rescued from the streets of Paris during World War Two by an Iranian diplomat.

FOUND explores the places and times when we find ourselves at our most vulnerable, feel truly lost and then experience the wonder of being found.

The production will tour the North East of England in March 2012.

"A really moving piece, with an ambiance of surreal fragility - which to me more than any other theatre piece really showed the actors' and writers' craft at its best." Tony Panayiotou, Director, Diversity, Arts Council England

How it works:

  1. Order a reward by clicking on one of the reward images on the right hand side of the page. At this point you will authorise Culturelabel.com to deduct the funds relating to the reward you chose.
  2. If this project does not reach its funding goal in its funding period, your card will not be billed and your order will be cancelled.
  3. If the project is successful, your card will be billed and you will receive your reward.

Where possible, if the project reaches its funding goal you should receive your reward promptly after the end of the funding period. However, please be aware that owing to the nature of this project, those rewards associated with the artwork itself cannot be dispatched until the artwork is complete. This may take some time following the completion of the funding period. The arts organisation running the project will be responsible for speedy dispatch of your rewards as soon as they are available, and will keep you updated on the progress of the project and timetable for dispatch of your rewards. By ordering a reward through Culture Label this indicates that you have agreed to this longer timeframe for dispatch of those rewards directly associated with an event or new artistic product. Reward images are illustrative. The rewards may look substantially different to the representations on WeDidThis.
