River Productions and Skylight Theatre, two young, independent theatre companies seek to travel the UK with two productions celebrating the Diamond Jubilee on a self-contained theatre bus. "Revlon Scarlet Rescues the Crown Jewels," a new version of our original historical family show that premiered at The Camden Fringe in 2010 and Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest" are both set in 1952 and capture the mood of retro celebration.
We will be at Brighton Fringe for two weeks and Stratford Fringe for ten days. We are also seeking other one-off venues anywhere in the country during the spring and summer of 2012. Our funding target will cover the registration fees for both festivals and some of our market costs. We are completely self-funded and seek to create imaginative, accessible productions inspired by our country's amazing history.
